cwic = quick
The word ‘cwic' has its roots in old english and translates to 'quick.' It has links to Latin and greek words associated with living and life. this term accurately describes our goal of creating footwear solutions that are fast to slip on and off, suitable for all day/everyday and for every occasion/situation.

last things first.
the shoe last is the foundation of every shoe and is crucial in the shoemaking process. the shoemaker begins by developing the shoe around the last, which determines the shoe's fit, performance, ergonomics, and style. the last's shape plays a significant role in creating a shoe that is suitable for its intended purpose. even if the shoe design looks great, it will not be functional if the last is not appropriate for the shoe’s function.
we have created our cwic shoes based on our own prototype last to ensure a perfect fit.

closing the loop on waste.
at cwic, we are firmly committed to reducing waste. that's why all of our shoes come equipped with ortholite® recycled™ footbeds crafted entirely from recycled materials. these footbeds offer eco-friendly support, stability, and underfoot comfort and retain all the essential features of ortholite®. plus, they deliver immediate step-in comfort.

little things make a big difference.
